Project Estella Petition - Sign-up before Nov. 23, 2008 Extended.

Since the constitutional talks are postponed…, the timeline for collecting signatures is extended.
This petition is asking the government two questions; that the government:
1. amend the Penal Code to decriminalize the carrying of certain devices such as pepper spray and tasers for the purposes of self-protection; and
2. ensure that a clause is include in the Cayman Islands constitution which protect our right of self-protection.
So the constitution would protect the right and local legislation would continue to protect the means by which the right is exercised.
